I purchased this piece of land in hope of hunting it but work and family has prevented me from utilizing it like I would like. So I’m putting it up for lease. It’s a beautiful REMOTE property on rolling terrain over looking some majestic country. It’s remote so no electricity or water. It has a gas lease road that ends on the propert with two lock gates along the way. It’s a little more than 3 hours from Dallas. It has lots of wildlife on it. I have pictures of hogs, big hogs, deers, large bucks, turkeys, I mean lots of turkeys, trees, gorge with water falls, large rocks, and black BEARS! I’m kinda particular. Looking for find the right person/persons who would work and enjoy the land with me. Thanks for looking!

Do you know if the gas lease roads are maintained, and maintained in a timely manner? I have a friend who owned some land in OK. There was a road owned by a timber company, that was also an easement to access the land. This did not work out well, and he sold the land.

Here is a few things I would like to ad about the place. First, I’m asking for around $10 and acre. It’s a year long lease and lessor is free to do as please within reason, camping etc. I’m a fair minded person and would like to work with lessor. I’m hoping to find someone or someones who would lease the place for a long time. We can work out the term of the lease so it’s mutually beneficial. I plan to build cabin but that’s just a plan for now.

As for the road, it is well maintained now. I don’t have a crystal ball to predict the future but it it is good now. I may have to sell it too if access becomes in issue.

PM me and forward you pictures of wildlife.

Do you have a limit on the # of people you would like to lease? Would you do 3?

Update: No one signed in the dotted line yet so lease still available. Looking for long term hunter. So that there isn’t any confusion, I’m gonna be up front and say that I’m asking 3500 for year to date lease. Be away that hunting licenses will be higher for us Texan hunting in OK. On average, it will cost about $500. Here are some pictures from the land. PM for more info. [Linked Image]

It is a real nice place. It has 2 new ponds that are deep and 3 places cleared out for food plots. Probably 6 or more acres. It also has trails around most of the perimeter. I have hunted it twice and saw deer each time I was there. The lease road is very nice and comes up from the south right into the middle of the parcel, but only 150 yards in....so, very minimal intrusion from the oil guys. Also, very limited access to surrounding large parcels. There are neighbors to the east, but they have to go up and down a nasty deep draw to get to this parcel, which is impossible unless on foot.

Had a girlfriend that owned 100 acres near Wilburton, close to 'Robbers cave". Never got a chance to hunt it but man it was a pretty place. Your place looks real nice up

My guess would be that it is leased since there has been no reply in almost 2 weeks
