Pics are taken about 1 year apart at the same spot. What do you think, same deer?

How much time between the photos? I would not have expected that much growth in 1 season. About 11 months between pics

Last year we had a spike buck that got injured some how. He has a big lump with a white spot on it on his front right shoulder. This year he is about a 15 inch wide 8 pt still got the lump/spot. Ive been meaning to post the pictures for a fun spike, shoot or don't post but haven't dug up the pictures yet.

Here is the original from a year ago. Actually I just realized it is a different feeder, but only about 200 yards away. And these are from this week.

First pic he looks to be a lot younger than the other pics.

We had one that looked very similar to your current year pic- narrow and tall - but was a 10 pt. Several hunters saw him and passed on him the year before -he was 3 or 4. The next year he was taken as an 11 pt and he looked really massive - rough score was 141 with an inside spread just shy of 12 inches. They can have some tremendous growth year over year.

Looks like the same buck that went through a time machine that added 3-4 years of body and antlers in one year.

Same buck 100% sure. He has a small scar on this left rear leg in front of the knee/hock.

Im thinking with the angle and distance from camera on the first pic (from last year) that it might be hiding some of his age. Also being post rut pretty probable he is run down and doesn't look his age.
Several of our bucks were nice filled out 3 year old /middle aged looking bucks early in season, post rut they look like yearlings.
