Coyote Light is the best I have used but the Wicked Light is probably best for the money

Coyote light is very good but very expensive. Elusive Wildlife Technologies make quality lights at a good price. Adios, Gary

I really like my Wicked Hunting Lights A67ic for a gun light. It will catch eye shine from a long ways out and you can identify pretty quick. Also can go from a spot to flood with an easy turn. Best feature is the ability to change colors with the turn of a knob and NOT lose point of impact of the light (red, green, white). Plus for the price of the coyote light you can get the light kit that includes the A67ic and the Scan Pro 3 color in 1 IC and have a fantastic scanning light!!!

I definitely like the Wicked Light; lots of options available at a reasonable price.

The Wicked Lights A67iC 3-in-1 light is by far the best I have used. 3 lights built into one light! (Red, Green, White). Switch lights with the turn of a knob in less than a second, and they are on a rotating axis so you never lose your POI of your beam when switching lights. So if you have a coyote that is green sensitive switch to red on the fly and see if that works better. Or at a place for hogs and they have a green feeder light, change to green to match the light they are used to.
It also have a built in dimmer switch, so you can dim it and then turn it on and off at the same setting.
I love mine!

If you had asked about a scanning light there are a few very good ones that are on par with the Coyote Light such as Foxpro Fire Eye but as far as gun mounted the Coyote Light has the farthest reach with smooth focus and reostat. The quality is there in the Coyote Light and being American made is a plus as all the others are Chinese.
