Looking for Hamilton, Bosque, Coryell, Bell county, etc deer lease. Obviously not trophy areas, but large populations and hogs are target. Not a huge deer hunter, but duck hunting is getting slower the more years go by so I'm getting back into it. Only major requirement is guest to hunt off my tags (my wife). Could probably even fill a couple spots if available.

Would also entertain trading bowfishing trips via airboat for a nice deer (130-140) if you had a large cull to get rid of.

still a little early to be listed, but we did make a drive to Hamilton last weekend to scope out the feed store listings and grab a Storm's special. Nothing yet... good thing it's almost warm enough to start bowfishing.

Need to edit my post to include Mills and Lampasas counties. Both nice areas. I'd still entertain trading a few bowfishing trips/or duck hunts for a nice-to-me deer next season if you have one of those fancy ranches... I also LOVE a good turkey hunt. Shot a large tom 2 years ago in San Saba and it was an awesome solo hunt and makes a good story.

Just to sweeten the pot, I make a pheasant trip to Nebraska every year that usually falls on opening weekend, so that's one less gun that weekend. And after this last year, I think Sandhill cranes will become annual as well. Wingshooting is my primary passion.

My wife experienced her first successful deer hunt Christmas day. We had deer snort at us (she thought it was cute) and we shot a large 110# doe, so she's ready for weekends at the deer lease as well.

My first hunt was near Hamilton around 1990-91. I cried because my father didn't shoot the deer we saw. I found out 25 years later it was a fawn.

My family are all Aggies...Don't hold it against me; I went to Tarleton!

My thermal scope has been getting used to look for the critters that kill my wife's chickens and the coyotes that circle the cows. This needs to change.

Sorry for turning this into a dating profile. Would like to spend around $2000 for a annual lease.
