Go to settings and turn off FaceTime. Bug allows others to eavesdrop on you via FaceTime.

Bug allows others to eavesdrop... Not a bug. A "hidden feature" to help the NSA protect us. You want to help the gov keep us safe, right?! No changes needed.

Yes they listen. Me and my wife where outside and I mentioned that we needed a new hot tub cover soon. The next day I had adds for hot tub covers. I never searched for a cover, just me and the wife talking with our phones in our pockets. Happened with something else also, but can't remember what it was now.

This seems to be a common occurrence. Ads will pop up and then I swear the same thing happens when random stuff that I may mention in general conversation show up on my YouTube recommendations.

I sure hope they’re not obligated to report anything.  I’ve been known to say some pretty messed up stuff that pops into my head to a buddy or two.

Y’all need to stand closer to the foil hat guy on TFF Targeted ads because your phone listens to you is not a conspiracy, it’s reality. It happens and has been happening. Same with Alexa and whatever Google’s version is.

But I am aware of private companies have taken technology from government based programs and have privatized and updated previous used surveillance techniques. Example Stingray and triggerfish are things once only used by the government. Now privatized.

If you doubt me, than do an experiment. Talk about something you want to buy, complete random crap and see if you get adds for it in the near future. Don't do any searches for that item.
