 10/22 bolt locking back

I have an early mod. 10/22 that is locking the bolt back. I had it completely cleaned a while back and mounted a new barrel and stock. It locked up on me and I took it down and when I removed the trigger assembly it unlocked. I put it back together and then tried it out and after about 5-6 shots it locked back again. Any suggestions other than take it to a gunsmith. [email][/email]

The only thing I can figure is that it the trigger group was put together wrong. Watch a couple YouTube videos on how to take it apart and reassemble it, you can do it in ~15 minutes and then test it out one more time.
If reassembling it properly doesn't fix it, then it's time to take it to the gunsmith.

Try a new mag. If you push the bolt release does it release?
