Does anyone make an electric powered 4 wheeler? I know you can get the golf cart buggies and such, but does anyone make a battery powered 4 wheeler?

Yes but they are still small, have low weight capacity and are slow.

I think that third one is BS. I don't believe you can get 555 hp from a 12 volt battery. Heck even the telsa cars are not getting that with over 400 volts. And if that thing had that much power it would have a faster 0-60 time .

A few years ago Rocky Mountain Sports in Alamogordo, NM had a small 2 seater electric. Saw a couple of them also on the streets of Alamogordo. Not really an off road vehicle, but it looked like it had the capability of being enclosed in bad weather. But it is not currently on their website.

Batteries are quite, but heavy. This last season as wet as it was might not be a good fit for heavy battery UTV
Thanks, Billy

Heck the telsa model 3 has less hp weighs more, and is as fast to 60. The numbers don't jive.

And if that thing had that much power it would have a faster 0-60 time . Well if I recall correctly, one horse power is equal to 746 watts consumed. Divide that by 12 volts and you get 62 amps. How long can the battery provide 746 watts continuously? So no. It will not provide 555 hp. The cable would have to be huge to handle 555 x 62amps. Gotta be a typo.

Yeah, I was just doing calculations in my head and no way it would work. Most high current uses much higher voltage. Look at how many batterys are in a 36 or 48 volt golf cart. and only about 20hp.

This article goes into what the manufacturer is claiming, but like I said, it’s over my head. https://electrek.co/2017/11/21/nikola-zero-electric-utv-energy-capacity-tesla/

Yes, I saw that, but.....
(UPDATE: A U.S. based retailer has clarified that the current retail price starts at $8,950 and that options are extra. The $5,700 price cited by Kaiyun does not apply to the NHTSA-approved version, which can be operated on roads with speed limits of 35 mph and under.)
