So......in my rush to get out of the house and out to my blind, I did not grab my stabilizer for my bow, which I normally take off when not using the bow to fit it into a case and simple transport in my back seat. My question is how will not having it affect my shooting? I usually have rifle and bow in my blind.....rifle for past 40 yrd shots and the bow of they come in close. Will it affect my shooting much not having it? I shoot a Mission Blaze at around 60 pounds for pull. Thanks!!!

Very little effect on most peoples shooting, on the shot you will feel more shock in the bow hand and the bow will not be as quite. If I am walking a lot for a hunt the Stabilizer is left in the truck, why carry the extra weight and one less thing to snag on brush,

agree with Kmon. Little to no affect. I use a $20 cabelas short stabilizer so it fits in my case with the stabilizer on my vertix. My BIL uses a 8" $150 Mathews stabilizer on his vertix. Needless to say it doesn't make him shoot better

Needless to say it doesn't make him shoot better I use a short stabilizer I bought in the early 80s, that you cannot find anymore for sale. Those old short mercury stabilizers do work. Have screwed it on the end of a beestinger a few times on others bows at the shop and most tried to buy it from me but it is not for sale

Easier to shoot with a stabilizer, but shouldn't change point of impact much, if any. I used to use a 10" stabilizer on my hunting bow but after bumping the blind with it i ended up going with one of the sims dampeners. Don't really do any stabilizing, but does quieten the bow some and will fit in the case

A stabilizer has a purpose. A 20 yard shot you may not see enough difference to think much of it. 40 yards you will.
