Liberal propaganda. If you think that ad is ok you should check your yourself. Demonizing men and feminizing the world is from the devil, not God and what the agenda of the left is and has been. These ads have nothing to do with doing what is right, they are about making men, all men look like blubbering fools. Be a leader, man up.

I would say more than half the men in a marriage or relationship let the woman wear the pants and make the rules and decisions.

I am old school, I make the all the decision in my house as it is my job and duty to do that, as it is my wife decision to support my decision.

Is that what is happening in that commercial? I have no idea why Gillette would make such a commercial as it doesn't have much to do with their product. I don't see it as demonizing men or making men to be idiots. Have men made themselves look bad? or like idiots?

I guess I see it as calling men to be leaders and man up and be the men we are suppose to be. The bible doesn't say to look down on women or belittle them or that they have no voice etc. Along with those passages in the bible about who is subservient to whom there is also a good description about how men should act towards woman.

That's what I see. Treating everyone with respect and protecting those who cannot protect themselves. If being a man means sexual harassment and taking advantage of others, you aren't really a man at all.

This ad is a perfect example of social engineering propaganda. It's everywhere now in commercials & TV shows.

'Heard about it yesterday. 'Watched it this morning. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it's real subtle, almost subliminal. On the surface, it's okay - just don't be a bullying, macho-at-all-costs arsehole. Boys are watching us to see what we do. I'm all for that. But the flashbacks to old TV shows and the stereotype line of guys at their barbeque pits are basically saying our fathers were wrong and misogynists. 'Standard method of the left - all generations before us were stupid, we're the only ones "evolved" enough to see how things should truly be. Look to group-think as to how you should act, speak, and think instead of being comfortable in your own skin and knowing, and trusting, how you were raised. It's getting very Orwellian out there.

I'm going to try and not turn on the TV so much in 2019, and definitely on in to 2020. It's going to be a circus.

this was a topic of discussion on the Austin talk radio show on my way home last night ... they thought it was marketing genius!

It is playing to women, not men, who in turn would likely be buying their 12-14 year old son's first razor (and likely blades until they leave for college). Gillette marketing share has dropped substantially over the past few years with various shave club and new start up companies like "Harry's", so they are marketing toward women's sympathy side.
