looking for a low fence axis doe hunt this spring. 2 maybe 3 hunters for sure. One hunter may want a buck depending on price-the third hunter would be a 70+ yo step father who is pretty proficient but excessively long walks over rough terrain/up/down hills may be tough on him.

Contact Jehramy Webb at (830) 275-2759. This is mostly no fence free roaming Axis deer hunt. He has several ranches & private land that he uses. The properties are very close to Garner State Park which holds a huge Axis deer herd.
He mostly does driving around and then stalking the animal since it's hard to determine where the herds may be. That's the way it was when I went there many years ago. He can also place you on the ground as well if that's the way you like to hunt. I shot 2 nice Axis bucks this way but my biggest was a 32" which I took driving around. Great guy to deal with as well. He can probably set you up with lodging as well since his wife books for traveler to the local area. You do know the June July are the prime month when most of the Axis are in hard horn. Just tell him that Banco Concan sent you to him.
