Finally got a blind out on my property shortly after Christmas. Thanks to the wife for the blind as my Christmas present.

Very impressed with the Antler Shed Deer blind so far. Great quality and price for what you get. I searched for many hours and came back to Antler Shed after trying one out at a hunting expo. Almost didn't get one because their closest dealer is in Madisonville (my property is in Coleman County).

I wanted a large blind for this location as it's on a hill overlooking two fields. On the opposite side of the blind is a drop off of about 30 ft. Debating if I'll get another one or go with something more cost effective and closer by. I'm curious if anyone else in Central TX has one and where they got it from? I'd love another, but the 9 hours of travel was a bit much!

It was $2,500 plus tax. Certainly not cheap, but when compared to blind prices from several local dealers, it was quite competitively priced. Comes with a 40 year warranty... though with the way it's built.. not sure I'll ever have to take advantage of that. I sat in a number of blinds at a hunting expo and found this to be the most comfortable and visually appealing.

One of the main reasons I bought it was for the adjustable shelves. Makes a nice elbow rest when shooting long distance. Also, since I work remotely, I put two shelves together and have a nice place to put my laptop on. You can add "drop down" windows for another $100. I wanted the drop down window option, but the only 5x8 available within a few hours of Houston didn't have it. Next blind I'll add that option. I was a bit eager to secure the blind close to Christmas before my wife changed her mind, hah!

Here is a pic from their web site where they are using the adjustable shelves to make an elbow rest.

I got two, 5x8 and 4x6. one on the ground, one on their 8 foot tower. Happy with both. Had so much rain that I can't believe it and both stayed completely dry.

we have 3 here, previous owner bought them. excellent blinds and they delivered and helped with setup of 2. all are on the 8' stands and are light enough (still heavy though) that I set the last one solo, trailered it to location and used the winch on polaris to erect, pretty easy. all 3 are the 5x8.

My wife standing at our 5X8 on 8 foot tower. As I said I have two and most likely buy one more, The only negative
that I found is that I personally don't like the steps on the stairway. They are not wide enough. They are okay and
safe, but my wife is 72 and I want more than just safe for her.
