Could be, probably damaged years ago.

yup, had a doe that was the same way. Seen a coon like that too

Looks like it - I was in stand once watching a a small 8 pt buck and noticed something odd about his behavior. After a bit I got a good look and realized his left eye was hanging down to his jaw. He was not a legal buck and at the time I was not sure what to do. As I contemplated going ahead and shooting he wandered back into the brush and left. To this day it bugs me...
