I live on the west side of Houston. It is time to restock my supply of shotgun reloading supplies. In late December I traveled to the Pearland area in hopes of restocking primers and shot. When I arrived at Big Guy Reloading Supplies I found that the business was closing down. Very little was left on the shelves.
Does anyone have suggestions where supplies are available besides Carter's Country? As my dad would say they are higher than a cat's back.

I like 10Ring Reloading in Spring/Cypress area. Great selection and good prices.

I used 10Ring also. It’s on Jones Road, north of 1960 (at least it was).

I haven't shopped at 10 Ring in a couple of years. Back then 10 Ring was charging $190 for CLAYS powder while Big Guy was charging $130 for a similar 8 pound container.
I will check with 10 Ring again to see where they stand.
Otherwise I will check to see if the Southwest Regional Grand is in San Antonia again and wait until April to restock my supplies.

I have bought a lot of supplies from 10 ring. If your up around Huntsville you might check Able Ammo. I have bought powder from them several times as well.

I drove over to 10 Ring a couple of days ago to check things out. The staff indicated that the stock was a little depleted from the holiday shopping season.
While they did have primers and shot, the primers were not the brand I use. The shot was overpriced. $54 a bag for Eagle shot is a bit out of my price range.

I followed your link to Houston Reloading Supplies. Looking at their website it appears that they cater mostly to the metallic reloading crowd instead of the Shotshell shooters. They don't list lead shot or wads on the website. Most of their powders listed are more appropriate for rifles and pistols than for scatterguns. Thanks for your suggestions.

What size lead shot you looking for? I have some #4 and #5 I'll sell or trade.

10 Ring had Federal and Cheddite primers if I remember correctly.
I normally shoot Winchester primers in my shotgun shells.
