In case anyone is wondering how the NXS stacks up to the ATACR in the “durability department”, I’ll just leave this right here. https://youtu.be/4bZZTa8M5wII saw this first hand on an ATACR at a long range class I took. First time I have seen it on the NXS. Only additional info I would have liked to see was them dial the turrets and take a shot at distance. That being said..... I don’t need to see it to believe it. Quality stuff here IMO.

Poor scope never hurt anybody...
But, this is why when I was spending the largest amount I ever have on a rifle scope, I spent it on NF.

The most impressive is the picture of the soldier's rifle that had the bullet hole through the scope tube and was still using the scope!

3-15 X F-1.
Took a 7.62X39 round, while the Designated Marksman was at 15X. The magnification ring stuck right there, but he stayed in the fight for two more days. Elevation turret, reticle, and all lenses kept working.

Congrats! Actually bad decision to buy. That one purchase could cost me thousands in the future. Now what I thought was a very good scope for my bolt action, my Trijicon 3-9 (which has been a great scope so far), is suddenly woefully inadequate and therefore I now have to buy a Z5 for my other rifle and then I will be complete and be ready for a lesson on long distance shooting and just shooting in general. Then I will be heading your way for some schooling.

I like to say I’m above being swayed by marketing but 10 years ago or so that was the image that lead me to buy my first nightforce and I certainly wasn’t disappointed.

Congrats! Actually bad decision to buy. That one purchase could cost me thousands in the future. You better believe it will. Buy one really nice scope and use it, and the rest are junk. Ask me how I know.
