Coming soon in 2019........
The golden chalice of 30 caliber, enough capacity to propel the longest, heaviest, highest bc bullets ever made.. word is there are more heavy 30 cal bullets coming from several manufacturers and we are ready for them....
The 300 Werewolf case h20 capacity is right at 142 gr and it will work in actions made for the 338 Lapua , bolt face is the same and case length is a few thousands longer......
We have plans to make factory brass in 2019, and after the testing phase offer it to the public
No silver bullet can stop this beast......
**EDIT**
The 300 Werewolf has been updated/redesigned to address a few things we felt needed changing from the original version...
Getting a lot of msg's asking for brass and reamer availability..... we are anticipating US made brass to be available late spring/summer in 2019, after that we will release the 300 Werewolf to the public and reamers can be ordered from Pacific Tool & Gauge
Thank you all for the interest in our wildcats, all info will be updated on this page as we get it....

Multi-purpose, wounding on one end and killing on the other.

Well crap, I need one! I'm liking what they did with the case geometry.

I've got access to land that affords several miles, line of sight. It won't hang with a .416 Barrett, but it might not cost as much to shoot either. Sucks that it's PT&G providing reamers. Whidden making dies?

I wonder what the barrel life would be on a rifle chambered in that?

A week to 10 days.

This would be a good time to pick up one of the cheap 338 Lapua Savages for a build.

You can’t post this without some of the ballistics...

That was my exact comment on FB waiting. Definitely thinking of getting a reamer and some brass, building one and putting it on display in the shop.

I’d like that a lot more with a .338 bullet.

Looking at the case, I see 2 things immediately. 1- it is a rebated case design, meaning, the case head or bolt face is smaller than the case body. This will cause excessive pressure on the bolt and will wear out brass very quickly. 2- the case head looks to be same size as a magnum round, not the Lapua case head size. I can't find any specs, so not 100% sure. But the rebated rim would give me big pause to shoot this round.

I've been looking at it hard also trying to match the parent case, first thought was 404 Jeffery but not enough case capacity. I did notice the rebated case head but something burning that much powder I throw longevity out. Its a novelty cartridge that would be fun to take out to a mile.

I did some loading for a guy with some 338 Edge +P ammo. It's a 300 RUM necked up to .338". The RUM is a rebated rim also. The +P ammo I calculated to be in the area of 72K-75K psi. I didn't have to tell him the brass would be wrecked on the first firing. The primer pocket was done after one firing. Even a regular 300 RUM case has poor brass life, even with premium brass like Norma or Nosler. I've loaded enough of 300 RUM to know you will get about 1-2 reloads out of the brass. Rebated rims are great for getting something to fit in a dedicated bolt size, but not good for longevity.

Chad, I think the rebated rims are a little kinder on brass if the cartridge has very little taper like the AI cartridges do and part of why it works well in the 6.5-284 and 284 Winchester. Less taper to the cas exerts less pressure on the bolt as it grips the chamber wall better. Just my 2cents

Well over 100 grains, which is just right.

I could not afford to feed that thing and my family. My daughter gets a might ...agrivated when she doesn’t eat. Therefore, that cartridge is not healthy for me. Pass
