What are some late season tactics you have previously and successfully utilized for counties past the primary rut and entering or into the secondary rut? Paying attention to moon phases, hunting the pinch points, trails, abandoning corn feeders, putting out other attractants or supplements, rattling, grunting, doe bleats, hunting the wind, etc.??

Protein whether it be protein you’ve placed or high protein brows.

Scatter corn in food plots in the area where deer enter it most often.

Corn, not at feeders just piled on the ground.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

I’m just praying at this point.
Preparing for my annual walk of shame back to camp.

Late season is a good time to try that one thing that you have thought about all season but haven’t tried for whatever reason. On the flip side, I have been surprised by some nice deer by doing something completely off the wall or hunting somewhere that under normal circumstances would be the last place I would try. Seems change is good late season and you can sometimes catch a good one by surprise

Find the green food source if you have one. If not, grab some alfalfa hay and spread it where you hunt. It's late season deer crack.
