Wish I could claim to have taken this one. It was found on our land after being shot with bird shot the night before.

A few of my mounts plus some to be mounted. First buck is a 201 book deer taken on our lease in South Texas. Posed pic is deer I took last week at our lease - 25 inches inside spread. He is at the taxidermist as we speak. All are Low Fence except the stag - he was taken in New Zealand off of a 20,000 acre ranch. Scored 551 inches and number 3 in the world SCI at the time taken. Elk was taken in New Mexico with muzzle loader. Some Africa game mixed in. 16 inch antelope is from New Mexico. The Ibex was taken in Spain free range last year. Wife decorated one for Christmas over her fireplace. Fish mount is thrown into the mix - why not? Caught at Lake Guerro years ago. More at my office but I don't have pics of them on this computer. A pedestal mount of a Tahr from New Zealand. STX your mounts are awesome - that wide mule deer is off the charts!

This one came from Bastrop county. Not exactly the big buck capital of Texas. Took me 3 years but I finally got him.

I have a few more at the house but we decided that anything we kill at the ranch and have mounted would be displayed at the ranch. Mine is the one on the left and my sons is on the right.

I need to get one mounted. I killed one several years ago but we couldn’t get it in the back of the truck
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Mine and my wifes over our couch. Had them turned to face each other. and here is one more that I shot 32 years ago near Big Lake texas on a low fence ranch. Way before there was the thought of feeders and protein. The small brow tine is 7-1/2 inches. I never scored it.
Cabin rental in Pagosa Springs, Co. Sleeps 10, If interested please PM me.

STX, what's the story on the mulie? My best deer... And an old mount of a buck a good family friend and guest shot in 1992, back before I ever knew the ranch and before any real trophy management program to speak of. Came out of nowhere. Very framey buck and nearly topped 170 as a mainframe 9 pointer. And one more for good measure. My BIL's best whitetail to date. Amazing tines and a unique deer.

Nothing as spectacular as what some of you have posted, but my favorite to date (and my only WT shoulder mount, so far). And some of his buddies:

They wont fit in the picture screen
Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

He was bigger the year before. The neighbor found his sheds and they were a full 10 pt. He was down to a 9pt when I shot him.
