Thx for the well wishes. I will come home with something even if it’s not Mr. McToaderston. Has been an amazing experience and worth it just to have to opportunity to see such a historic ranch. The amount of wildlife is staggering — hogs, javelina, deer, turkey, bald eagles. The size of this place is mind blowing with something new around every corner.

Plan for the evening is to rattle a few sets in staging areas off the wheat and then get on the wheat and wait and glass and hope that buck of a lifetime steps out.

My kind of hunt!! I’ve been on a lot of historic ranches, that one has always eluded me. Some day, any deer off a historic Texas ranch is a peice of Texas history.

In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

Sweet. Looking forward to hearing about it. Am I the only one seeing weird times for today's posts?
