How many confirmed kills does your deer rifle have?

Done by you pulling the trigger, not grand dad, son/daughter...etc

This can be hogs, deer, elk, grizzly not paper...lol. etc.

How do you keep count? Or do you not and it does not matter.

I have a Browning A-bolt stalker in 7mm Rem. mag and have 18 confirmed kills by me. 2 were hogs. I believe I bought it in 2009. I notch my stock with my knife while in blind.

I have 18 after today.

Two with this rifle so far. I seldom keep a rifle more than a year so they never rack up many kills. That’s two on the 6.5 Swede and 1 on the 45 lever. Both bought earlier this year.

M70 .308 = ~80ish + 3 coyotes
788 .243 = ~150ish + 10-15 turkeys + 3 coyotes ( multiple hunters)
CTR 6.5 = 7
Ruger 708 = 6
RRA 6.8 = 22 + 1 coyote

wait, animals?

and you know dang sure I haven't kept a rifle long enough to rack up a huge body count. maybe my first deer rifle Remington 700 BDL, .270. maybe 10 whitetail ??

I don't keep counts. If you were to sell your rifle to me and it had body count marks on it, I'd probably pass on the rifle.

Not by rifle, but I keep a log of every buck I have ever killed. # of points, property name, time of kill. Coyotes, cats, hogs...........no idea.

I’ve lost count

On this rifle, maybe just 12 or so. With the 270 Sako, maybe 200 or so. Overall lifetime total has to be somewhere around 300. I never kept a close count, and lost track decades ago.

My Horizon 6.5 was built in April 2014.
9 axis bucks
1 whitetail buck
2 whitetail spikes
8 whitetail doe
4 coyotes
Dozens of pigs

I never counted the game by firearm just how many in total. Stopped counting whitetail when I hit 200.

My “deer rifle” I have no idea.

North of 50 for sure.

I don’t hunt with it much anymore but it still seems to get a kill or two every year on a 4 legged animal

My current EDC rifle is a Tikka CTR. Had it 2 years, pulled the trigger twice on deer, killed 2 deer.

No idea. My current 7mm-08 that I hunt with has killed hundreds of animals, but no idea how many.

My rifle with the most kills is my first 300blk AR. I've shot a whitetail buck (my first deer), 14 hogs, and a coyote. My buck this year was killed with my Tikka .243, and it will get the most daytime hunting use from now on.

My 270 sendero has quite a few. For many years it was the only gun I hunted with, deer, hogs, coyotes etc.

I know you stated personal kill, but my wife hunts with it my dad has shot deer with it, and one of my cousins has killed a number of deer with it as well.

I stopped counting many years ago. I don't degrade my guns by putting marks on them. To each their own.

No idea on exact count but the 6.8 occupies the #1 spot. The amount of pigs to it's credit is enormous!! It has a couple of Yotes and Whitetails under it's belt as well.

I don’t know how many whitetail I’ve killed with any rifles I have. I do have a browning lever 22 that’s killed over 30,000 jackrabbits.
