Definitely didn’t see numbers thought I would. Not many hunting, heard only handful of shots right at legal. Thought more people would be out guess they were scared of weather

Hopefully they’ll be some birds coming in on the back side of this front. Wonder if they showed up in Oklahoma thiswith this weather moving through. Everyone I’ve talked to had a less than stellar morning.
I was really expecting today to be a burner. The lake flooded out of its banks again, strong north wind. Saw two birds all day. That included scouting the entire lake.

Same ish as everyone else. Saw 2 singles and 2 groups all morning, still came home with 5, mallards and teal. Didn’t see any other birds though and heard very little shooting around me

Well I did shoot a limit, 2 mallards, 3 Woodrow's and 1 gw teal. All drakes. I did not expect much with all the clouds and did not see a lot of birds but the ones I saw wanted in. Tomorrow should be a good day...lots of sunshine where we'll be.

yep, it sucked this morning. i have seen fewer and fewer birds over the last week here in north texas. the few that were around are very educated. hopefully some more birds show up in the next 3-5 days.

I thought today would be the day. First day with no ran since Thursday, cold front...saw the fewest number of ducks all season. Heard a lot of shots on neighboring ponds, but we didn’t shoot anything. Everything we saw was flying high and really had no interest in the lake we were hunting.

Grand pass in Missouri last duck count was 270,000 ducks, 85% mallards. It is froze over so they should be coming south soon.
If Mo is froze up hopefully Kan and ok will follow. We just need them to move back and forth between Waco and Sherman. Maybe stray back into Oklahoma once in a while.
No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.
