Has it frozen enough in the hill country around Kerrville/Sonora to knock down that late fall greening yet?

Also, I've been checking the temps. Why are the early morning temperatures in Leaky, always around 8-10% higher than in Kerrville?

Depends on if you're in the Frio canyon or on the mountains. We were in New Braunfels last week. They've had a couple of hard freezes. You should see movement. Good luck.
