How far should I set my sights?
Do I have ideal distance increments on the pins?

I've recently received some more pins, so I'm currently tuned 15 yards, then 20 yards, then 25 yards, the 35 yards, then 45 yards
Already tested it with broadheads and it looks good.


I'm normally a 'spot & stalk' hunter, can only hunt public land, and it's my first ever bow season.

Unfortunately, October was a bust due to work and other responsibilities.

For November, I've had spotted & stalked quite a few does within 30 yards of me waited for a buck to come by, but not much.
But I did have a nice 8pt buck chasing a doe around but wouldn't stay put for a few seconds.

Praying I can go back out there December 8th.

Keep what is working for now, there is no real specific rule for how far to set the sights,I keep mine set t in 10 yard increments starting at 20 yards. I think most do that but I know some that shoot faster bows and thy start at 25 yards then every 10 yards.

Motly keep it simple,and know your yardages

As kmon stated , 10 yards is pretty standard. There is not much drop over 5 yards. Less confusing in the field the better .

Mine is set for 25, 30, 40, 50, 60.
