i been given the opprotuniy to hunt Benbrook lake for the first time. has anyboby had success harvesting deer/fall turkey?

I haven't hunted there but we did some survey work on the east side. I can tell you there are some big deer out there....

I've never hunted there, but we trail ride there about once a month and we have walked up on some big uns.

Hunted it and have had success each time. Of course the area I hunted is no longer part of the hunting land. When they took that section away I hunted the lake one more time and stopped applying. There are great deer as there are in any place that is archery only but plenty of traffic from non hunters and those that think they will spot and stalk. It can be a very productive hunt if you are lucky enough to find an area that few people visit.
