Model 94 in 30 WCF. Made in 1906. This was my Grandfather's rifle. 22" Barrel. Holds 9 in the magazine!

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

Bbear, is that the original 1906 stock?

Well done! Beautiful buck taken with a stalwart "old school" rig!

I often take my old pre 64 Win 30-30 for a walk during deer season. Dropped a couple of deer and pigs with it. I also have a model 1873 in 38-40. I got it about 40 years ago, took it and killed a deer. Then cleaned it and put it away. I have a box of OLD cartridges.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

Here's my favorite gun so far. Winchester 1892 in 38-40, mfg date of around 1896 I think. Absolutely love shooting it. Unfortunately someone did a bad refinishing job on it before I got it, this only makes me want one that's been left original even more. Still hope to get an 1873 one of these days.

Late model Winchester 94 Wrangler .44 mag saddle ring. Marlin 336 CB 30-30 with a little bit of..... character.

Man, Cowboy...I'm jealous as all heck! I've been looking for a 336 Cowboy in .30 WCF (character or not!). Glad to see that they do, in fact, exist!
