I often take my old pre 64 Win 30-30 for a walk during deer season. Dropped a couple of deer and pigs with it. I also have a model 1873 in 38-40. I got it about 40 years ago, took it and killed a deer. Then cleaned it and put it away. I have a box of OLD cartridges.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

Here's my favorite gun so far. Winchester 1892 in 38-40, mfg date of around 1896 I think. Absolutely love shooting it. Unfortunately someone did a bad refinishing job on it before I got it, this only makes me want one that's been left original even more. Man, Cowboy...I'm jealous as all heck! I've been looking for a 336 Cowboy in .30 WCF (character or not!). Glad to see that they do, in fact, exist!
