I used my KelTec PMR 30 at about 20 yards. Two shots in the ear; followed by four more as Quality Assurance shots. He was dead after the first two, so the last ones were "shots fired in anger," or "shots fired in fear that the sumbitch would get up and run off."

I like your weapon of choice....enough challenge to make it interesting!
Rattlesnake, 22 Mag out of a pistol is not my caliber and weapon of choice for hog hunting, but you have to use what's available when the opportunity happens! I had the KelTec on my hip from a run of my trap line, and the long guns that I would have preferred using were 100 yards away at the time. With 30 rounds of 22 Mag in the magazine, I was pretty sure I could take this little guy out rapidly and humanely.
