What do u think about this gun? any good? I want the pros and cons.......

Well Browning is't known to make junk. What model are you talking about exactly?

Never seen a browning I didn't like. Depends on the condition of the gun, as far as anything else goes. Model#?

pros- Good solid gun, reliable, look and feel good, their synthetic Stocks are a little better quality than remington or some of the others and their resale value seem to be a little higher

cons- Not as accurate as most other production rifles, their wood models "dent" easily and their triggers s***k!

All that said I have 2 brownings and for general hunting I like them as well as any except the remington model 700! jmho

The X-bolt trigger is a BIG improvement over the A-bolt! I have an A-bolt in .270 WSM and recently purchased an X-bolt in 25=06. Both rifles are very accurate.

I totally agree that they "dent" easily. I have put more scratches and marks on my .243 abolt hunter than any other rifle ive had by far. Dont know how most of it got there. But IMHO I think it is a very accurate rifle and I really like the trigger. But the gun I was shooting before was a Vangard and that trigger really sucks. I love the gun, just wish I had bought it with synthetic stock. And nobody sells a aftermarket synthetic stock for a short action abolt

My A-bolt is synthetic, I opted for the wood medallion on the X-bolt. I'm a sucker for good looking wood and blue. I hope the wood is not too soft, but I know dents and scratches will happen as I hunt alot, and I bought it to use!

i have had a few and have a couple of brownings. browning lever action 243 and browing a-bolt medalion in 300 win mag. love both of them and they are both tack drivers. a lot of quality goes into a browning. you should read about the history of the browning all that man did for the firearms industry.

I have a browning a-bolt medallion .270 and I love it. It does seem to have a lot of little dents and scratches that I don't remember how they got there, but I have never had a problem with accuracy.

I grew up a Winchester model 70 man. I love them to pieces. However, I do own an A-Bolt in 7MM Mag. It is my go to show off gun now when tough shots need to be made. I have dialed in a load it loves very much. I did do a trigger job and topped it with very good glass. Mine is synthetic - never thought I would have one but I call her my "killin black biotch."
