Just got in the stand. 51 degrees, clear skies and a 5mph breeze. Had to take a different walk to my stand due to the rain but I'm here and ready. This is what it's all about. Good luck to all sand be safe.

Had a deer come in while it was still too dark to make it out. 4pt in the pen waiting on corn. Already heard 3 rifle shots.

8pt came trotting out 3-4 minutes after getting in the stand. Not the one I'm looking for.

Saw a potential target buck. Just put cross hairs on him but started second guessing his age and size in person compared to on camera. Now I think I'm regretting it. The way I see it, If I was on the fence then he probably wasn't "the one." Would have been my biggest deer though.

Saw a potential target buck. Just put cross hairs on him but he seemed smaller in person than on camera. Now I think I'm regretting it. Too early for that, the bigger one will come.

Had 4 bucks and two doe this morning around 8. seemed to be moving good before this wind started. Yup, lots of deer before the wind set in. I'm in the stand now and it seems to be laying down a bit. Expecting some good movement this evening if it lets up some more.

I'm in the north east corner, right at the Jack/Montague line. Had a 4pt and young 8 come through just a bit ago. Wind has definitely let up. Haven't seen any chasing yet.

Saw my first signs of things heating up. Just had a doe take off across the field. Young 8 followed her about half way and gave up.
