I bought it brand new in 2011 and the tread is just about gone now. I've thought about sticking with stock since they have been fine for what I use it for, but was wondering if there was something out there that might be better. I'm in East Texas and my land is all red clay. It's mostly hard compacted with very little mud to deal with. In the last 7 years, I've only gotten it stuck twice.

Then my next question is how do you get the tires changed? I spoke to guys at Firestone and also at Discount Tire, and they said that they do not work on ATV and UTV tires. Do you just keep looking until you find a tire shop that will change them for you?

I have the ITP Mud Lites on my Polaris and they have been great out west in wet muddy clay. Great tire and great ride as well.

That's funny, I bought my last set of UTV tires at Discount tires in Texarkana and they put them on. Of course they had to order the tires and it took about 3 days for them to arrive. Then I took my mule up to discount tires, unloaded it, and they put them right on. This was about September 15, 2018.

Thank you. I think I should have worded my post a little differently. I can buy four brand new tires for $319 on Amazon and have them shipped to me for free. Those are the same factory tires that came with my Mule when I bought it brand new. I don't think that there is anything wrong with those tires, but since I'm buying new ones, are there better choices out there for factory 23x11-10 tires?

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_pg_2?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3A23x11-10+tires&page=2&keywords=23x11-10+tires&ie=UTF8&qid=1539785563

If I bought them online and had them delivered, has anybody ever had any luck having a tire company install them on the factory rims if you bring the old tires and rims into their shop? Seems to me that this should be pretty simple for them, but I haven't actually put any effort into seeing what it would cost to do except when I bought tires for my truck and they said that they didn't do that.

You can go to Discount tire show them what you want and they will order them and "Match the Price." Done that on several sets of tires including my mule just last month.

When I replace mine, they will be Kenda Bear Claws.

For mounting, Walmart will install for $5 each, but you have to take the loose wheels to them.

Checkout what discount carries, they have a utv section

The Essex tires are very popular with two treads offered

Thank you. I never thought of Walmart.

Discount Tire just built a new store here in Tyler. I'll stop by there and see what they have to say.

Oh, and Discount Tire will match prices if you show them on your phone. Sam's had the same tire $9 cheaper and they cam down to match it. They have done that with the last 4 sets of truck tires I have bought.

CKAT, how do you like the bear claws? So far I have my stock tires filled with Berrymans in Southtexas brush county and they have held up well. BUt I want to get bear claws next when these wear out.

I am still on stock tires. I will be going to the Kendas next, though. Lots of good reviews.

Also still on stockers - lots of tread left, but they look like pincushions from all of the mesquite and prickly pear on my place. Filled with Slime and they hold air pretty well. Funny thing, I have a UV light I use for hunting scorpions in my barn. One night I happened to shine it on the Mule tires and noticed many glowing spots. Turns out Slime will glow under UV light. Who knew...
