We use nothing but the 600lb All Seasons Stand and fill feeders. They are the best thing since sliced bread. Hogs dont mess with them at all and we have tons of them on the property, some of which are huge.

I'll throw in a pitch for GreenGo feeders as well. Very well built and likely less expensive than some of the other options. GreenGo Feeders

We cut the legs to our taller barrel feeders down to 4ft, putting the top of the barrel @ 6.5 ft off the ground. They are stand and fill. SO far, not even the hogs have messed with the cages / motors that sit @ 3 feet from the ground. I'm gonna cut legs to 3 feet on one of them just to see if they will work.

We did the same to our 55 gallon drums. Put a cow blocker out of hog panel on the corner. I've shot several deer licking the spinner plate. Plus I don't need to bring a ladder to fill them. Win-win in my books.

You won’t beat an Alamo feeder. The all seasons feeder cage knocks half the corn down directly under the feeder. The further and more even the spread the better the feeder. Alamo’s design is the best.

Don't go cheap and short IMO. We have had motors broken off a Moultrie 3 times this year. My SIL shot a big boar last night from under the broken feeder so hopefully the culprit has been killed. They would have had to stand on their back legs to knock the motor off.
