160 acre low/no fence, never seen one before. Probably a jumper from one of the high fence places in the area, Northern Eastland county. He was on my camera 4 days out of 5 in a row. Are they like an axis, no season? I mean, can I take him if I see him next week?

I know they're looked at as pests in some areas, but I would love to see him in front of my stand.

I definitely understand that, they seem to be like feral hogs in some areas. It's all a matter of perspective. I would love to get a nice one, but I don't have any where I hunt so it's easy to say that.

Thanks guys. He may not be a giant, but I'm not going to let the opportunity pass.

we got one on our cams just north east of Baird a few weeks ago. First one on camera in the 18 years we've been out there. i believe they're currently rutting and the internet said they can range 50-80 miles during this period.

Is this off of CR 103 in cisco? Our land owner we lease from lost one off his high fence a couple years back. Our plaxe is low fence and we have never seen him in person or camera

They taste great in my experience! I have shot and eaten six of them, and they were all really good.

I served venison and aoudad backstraps to guests once and no one could tell the difference.
