Thanks for inquiring about our Red Stag Special Hunt in Cordoba, Argentina. Everyone knows Cordoba for the dove hunting but in the western areas, the terrain is perfectly suited for Red Stag, which thrive here on our low-fenced ranch.
The area is remote and wild. Not a “canned” hunt at all. This is hunting at it’s finest. Blinds, spot and stalk, and walk-up are the methods of choice here. Shots are normally within 200 yards.
This property is over 20,000 acres of mountains, ravines, plains, and hills with 2 major rivers flowing through the ranch. Hunts are done on horseback or from 4x4 vehicles (your choice). There are many big game choices available from Red Stag, water buffalo and sheep, to black buck and wild boar. Beautiful landscapes and beautiful animals make this a spectacular hunt.
Fly-fishing for rainbow and brook trout in season is outstanding. Dove hunting as a combo portion of the package is done at one of our 5-star lodges in the Cordoba Province.
Pictures of the lodge are attached but really can’t do this property justice. Great food, wine, and local alcohol are part of the package.
You can take your own guns or rent one from the lodge. That is the easiest method but we can assist you with getting your guns into the country.
Fly into Cordoba, Argentina, then you’re picked up by the lodge and transported to the ranch. You’ll find these are the most accommodating and friendly people on Earth!

Remember the seasons in Argentina are the reverse of ours here! June and July is a great time to hunt Red Stag in the mountains.

Whats the cost of exporting the trophy's out?

Export price is dependent upon about a 100 different variables, but in general, from Argentina, probably $1000 or so. We recommend an export consultant to handle the details (we use the same one Jim Shockey uses exclusively...$975 fee) but it does, as you see, increase the cost. Benefit is no headaches dealing with it all, one invoice for the whole process, and you know your new trophy is going where you want it to go...In this decade! You can handle yourself and we provide guidance along the way, as do the outfitters. It goes to a dip and pack guy, then to the airport, then to U.S. customs holding, then to your taxidermist. That's the readers digest version. A lot goes on in between. Hope this helps. Price is by weight, holding time in warehouses waiting on inspection, import fee, transport charges, etc. I can and will help but I'm not as good as the pro's. They do it all day everyday. -Rick

Yes, they are. Because of the locations remoteness, there's not much pressure. Had some very big stags taken here.
