Im going to get serious about spraying my pastures starting this coming spring. Have way too much coverage of these three weeds. Want to ID all these to make sure I spray with the right stuff. #1 Heres is the first one I cant ID #2 This one grows around my house and is the toughest weed IVe even seen. Impossible to pull, hard to cut. Also have a lot of these two which I have ID'd as Bitter sneezeweed and Texas Goat weed/wooly Croton

Grayzon Next for all of it.
Don't spray if it could drift to a broad leaf crop such as cotton or corn.

Not a clue And you say you know weed smh 1st one looks like a type of goldenrod, seen the second but don't know, croton is a good source of pollen for bees, goldenrod for fall honey. From the photos, looks like weeds is all you got But a call and meet with your county Agriculture agent will answer any Q's you have and for FREE

Cows haven't eatin just about anything eatable down to the dirt. I have big swatches of pasture of these weeds which is keep grass from growing. Ive got to get these under control next year. Too late to do anything but shred this year but hope to hit it this spring.

Yes sir, I know how that goes, I had liquid fertilizer with a pint or 2 per acre of 2,4D each Spring put out by the fert/feed store, then I'd use the buggy for the remainder of the summer, also tried to burn them off every year or two, this killed a lot of weed seed and cut me having to buy potash when buying fert. If you could keep those weeds on the field edge, or fencelines only, good bird habitat and forage for bees.

From the photos, looks like weeds is all you got But a call and meet with your county Agriculture agent will answer any Q's you have and for FREE I used to have an accounting client that was a rancher, his place about 3000 acres was as weed free as any I had ever seen. I asked how that happened, he said 4 kids, and about 16 grandkids. When his kids ware growing up, they chopped weeds in the pasture, when the grandkid spent the summer with him and his wife, they chopped weeds.

You'll be glad you did and take a note book, good to have questions written down because it can get to info overload with a good agent. They also have a lot of free and some low cost brochures if you get by their offices.

Call your County Extension Agent. I had a good one when I had my place over in Fayette County (Scott Wiley). That young Cat knew it all.

Pretty sure I finally ID'd #1 as Ragweed. My pasture are full of it. And me with severe allergies. Might be why I flair up so bad all the time.

Last pic looks like Deadly Night shade, Don't handle that too much that's bad stuff very poisonous, If you do wash your hands good. I'm dealing with plant #2 & #4 right now.
