Remember reading that this full moon will have them doing a big migrational push this weekend. Going to give hunting our ranch in Hallettsville a shot this weekend with the hope that there might be some birds moving through. My question is with the full moon are flight times the typical dawn and dusk time slots or is there a good chance to see mid day groups of high flyers passing through? Basically trying to figure out if this big migrational flight is taking place at night, during the day, or both.

There’s been a pretty good migration moon the last few days, I think at least. Moon rose around 5:30pm and set about 2:30am... only reason i say that is becuase we had about 100 or teal sitting one of places at 3:30 Wednesday.... plenty of food, zero pressure and came back Thursday morning and shot 2.... feast or famine when it comes to teal.

Found what I'd saw was close to a 100 yesterday near the house. All in one spot.

Drove around for an hour and didn't see any in other locations.

Hoping this new moon results in a big push.
