Still raining here but there's definitely some birds. Hopefully my hunters can get out this afternoon. Did they get some birds after rain was done?

Saturday afternoon wasn't terrible but it rained again this morning just before the hunt and it was slow this morning.

Went yesterday afternoon to a field I shot a limit in opening day and didn’t see a single bird. Short season up here this year.

They came down, but it was tough hunting. As soon as the rain stopped Saturday from about 3-5pm it was On! Then steady until Sunset. Ended with two limits for three people shooting. Sunday morning got eight total same three people.

Pretty good here on Sunday evening. Shot a limit. Was hunting a cut maize field.
