Hi Guys.I will be hunting the Lance Rosier Unit this year for the first time and was wondering if anyone on here was hunting it or had hunted it in the past and had any tips, stories or advice on best place to get in the woods?I have hunted both the Davy Crockett and Angelina forests so am no stranger to hunting in the woods.I would love to hear anything relevant to this unit.

Keep your powder dry,the wind in your face and watch your backtrail.

Have you done any scouting yet?I did a little looking around in there about three week-ends ago.Saw three does.Once a yearling and later two mature ones. All looked to be in good shape and it was about 9:30 to 10:00am.Maybe we can keep in touch as the season goes along.Good Hunting and be well.

I haven't done any scouting yet. I just found out about this place. I want to go this weekend to put out my 3 cameras. Im really looking forward to hunting this place. I will pm you my number so we can stay in touch throughout the season. Im hunting it by myself so it'll be nice to have someone to hunt with sometime.
