Gives me the willies just looking at the pictures. For the most part I leave them alone but I think it's because I'm so nervous when I see one I don't think I could shot it if I tried. But I think a Texas Defender 45/410 could change that!!!

This is the one we discussed a couple weeks ago. It was under a feeder we were filling.

However, it sent me some threatening text messages earlier in the day and then came at me like a spider monkey all jacked up on Mountain Dew. Self defense through and through. grin

Spiders I can live with. I don't know what it is about snakes. I've been around them all my life (mostly cotton mouths in South Louisiana) and never had any issues but for some reason I'm always thinking one will chase me down to bite me every time I'm walking around the ranch. Completely irrational but I can't shake it.
