I decided to buy another spot. Really for my wife, but she now has to have shoulder surgery. Always next year for her. I actually like the area I got with the second spot better than where I set my blind. I think I will get with it and build another box blind in the next few days.
Those leg extenders sure work good with 4x4's and a few treated 4x4s to get a blind off the ground
I started using the smart siding thats already primed from lowes. I bet holds up better than OSB or plywood.
Thanks, Billy

this is one I started last weekend and will finish up some evening this week. 4x6 x 78" interior height. used 2x2 frame with primed siding, all screwed together with deck screws. Treated 2x6 base with 5/8" plywood floor. Trying to keep as light as possible but structurally sound as it will either be on a tower or use the 4x4 leg extender brackets.

I’m confused trying to figure out the point of your post?
