I have a lease in Red River County northwest of Bagwell and found out today that my travel trailer was stolen. Loggers are cutting on our property, but they also leave the gates open. So who knows what happened to my trailer. So anyone in that area might wanna go check there stuff. It's a 2008 29 foot Jayco Jayflight. So if you see it call the Red River county sheriffs department.

Loggers are not always innocent. I worked on a case 20 years ago... loggers cut fence, trespassed, cut timber and fled. It was so common that the FBI finally came in because the timber was being transported into Louisiana and being sold....

Don't mean to be rude but is this normal for $40 an acre hunting lease up there? Sounds nuts.

Who said anything about the lease price per acre?

OP, post some photos, ask around at local gas stations and any other hunting lease camps in the area, keep on the SO.

Probably went north, keep an eye on Ok & Ark Craigslist type sites, good luck hope you recover it.

I misspoke it is actually a Jayfeather not a Jayflight and yes luckily I do have it insured. I have trouble posting pics. But, if you google 2008 Jayco Jayfeather 29 thats what it looks like. This is a heartbreaker. Been on this lease for 5 or 6 years and never had an issue like this.

Very sorry this happened to you. I know it's sounds like Captain Obvious now, but it's probably best to clear everything out when timber is being cut. 'Hope your insurance pays the claim promptly and you're able to get set up again soon for your hunts.
