Good morning, My son has been watching me practice with my bow since I first got it in February. He's then been wanting to practice recently. Luckily, I was able to find a good used Diamond Edge SB-1 on Letgo for $150. It's the same model I got, which I bought new for about $400
He's only 12, so I've adjusted the draw weight & length to his size. The only issue now is the peep sight. The bow was initially set at 29.5", and it's been adjusted down to 24"
Can a bow tech re-adjust the peep sight without having to replace the string?
I would like to have an idea what to expect.
Thanks

have not had a bow shop yet that has not pretty much done what ever they could to try and help my 11 year old with her bow when ever she asks. and have never paid a dime for it. but we generally end up getting something while we are there

Have done exactly what you are asking for many times and gove basic instructions so they have at least had the basics explained. Only times I ever charged for that is if the customer is a real ______ crnsoring myself

Thanks again yall.
We went to BPS yesterday.
Unfortunately, as the bow tech was removing the threading, we were noticing the string underneath was frayed. He suggested the last person did a poor job of installing the peep sight and ended up cutting several strands of the string in the process. He recommended replacing the string and not to draw more than 20 lbs of weight for the meantime.
The good news was the bow tech was able to adjust the peep sight and didn't charge me for it. I bought some arrows for my son's size and we're all good to go.
Going to be ordering a replacement string today.
