Where was the knife he used to hammer the stakes in the ground with? That would be in the hand instead of a switch. Cut the head off and be done. I guess it was supper that night.

I tend to avoid snakes, I have no reason to try and capture them, I want them to evacuate the area. In regard to this particular case, Im sure it was dinner for the family. A neat trap though.
