Do I still need to change feeder time for Daylight Savings if I use another kind of corn?

Corn soybean mix

I tried that some when I hunted up in Kansas, I was always left with a pile of soybeans on the ground. Might work better down here though...

If you are feeding regular corn, they will come for regular corn, If you are feeding Indian corn they will come for Indian corn.
Just my thoughts.

I use whatever is cheaper. Its dry down here in South Texas and these deer will eat whatever. HEB sells 50lb bags of Mumms for $5.95

Candy corn works well up until Halloween.

I would prefer to attract regulars than Indians. I think deer corn is what you need.

I use Mexican corn

or as in the pic above, corned Mexicans.

I use Iowa or Kansas corn.

I only use corn that comes from a sack. If its not in a sack, I won't buy it.

How hard do you have to throw that to kill a deer? What is your effective range with that size can? Can you get better range out of the "single serving" size can and still effectively kill a deer...you know like using a .223 on WT instead of a larger caliber?

this stuff draws deer in like no other attractant on earth. I’ll pour a little in my hand then hit the deer over the head when they are eating out of my hand. For big deer I’ll use the family size can.

But does it taste better if you open and pour it from the bottom of the sack?

Will a 223 kill a deer or hog ?

It depends of whether they have been eating regular or Indian Corn. Indian corn seems to tuffen them up some.
