Ignore the true statistics of what more people are killed with per year. Clubs amd fists are not as "scary" as those so called assault weapons. We should ban fists! And tree limbs!
He need only look at his own state's success (read failure) on gun control laws.

Don’t think you can exercise your 2A rights or any other rights if you’re dead...lol The "wow" part is this: by asserting that I have the right to "help" you in spite of yourself, I've abrogated any and all real rights that you may enjoy. The logically following step is that I then have the right to allocate your time and your property for the "betterment" of everyone, that is, the "greater good". The end result, as history has shown us again and again, is mismanagement, totalitarianism, starvation, and slavery. At some point, "good intentions" aren't enough: you are expected to understand how the world really works and expected to effectively produce successful results. Saying, in the face of a Venezuelan disaster, "Well, my intentions were good and my heart is pure" is a complete abdication of any form of adult responsibility. Clowns like the quoted Bozo from California, should be frog-marched to Venezuela and be forced to earn a living for a couple of years in a Socialist Paradise. Those unfamiliar with history are condemned to repeat it.

Honestly, things like this only hurt moderate gun control measure attempts. It simply shows the true intentions of the left that they try and not let the world see. Every call for a ban like this strengthens the argument against any additional laws in my opinion.
