I wanted to see if any of you out there have had any experiences with the Bushnell Banner line of scopes...

My .270 came with one in 3x9-40 (no complaints on this one so far) and was thinking of going with 4x12-40 IR on a different gun...

I had one on my .280 and it was a POS. would never hold zero. Missed 2 deer because of it. Could have just been that particular scope, and not the whole line. It was a 3x9x50.

Not too crazy about Bushnell after that

Yea, me too. The guys on my lease bought a banner for my wife for Christmas about 4 years ago and sighted it in for her. She missed 3 awesome deer so I checked it. The left/right adjustment didn't work. It was 3 feet to the left. They told me the barrel was shot out. We replaced it this past season and trying to sight it in, I realized the SHOT OUT barrel was grouping sub MOA. Not bad for a 1962 Win. Mod. 70. That was one of only 2 scopes I ever had trouble with, the other one was on a B B gun.

I have a 6-18x50 banner on a 257 wby vanguard and it is a shootin' dude. For the time being, I can't complain about the clarity and how well it focuses @ the correct yardage marks.

Im not sure about putting them on large rifles but ive had on on my 10/22 for the past 4 years and never had to resight it in. It is clear as glass and hold a tight zero.

I had a Banner 3x9x50 for 6 years. I shot it on 4 different rifles and killed several deer and hogs looking through it with zero issues.
