You aren't going to like this but it is extremely easy to meal plan. Commit to a plant based diet for 85-90% of your meals and you can easily lose that weight pretty quickly and keep it off.

While I don’t disagree with mattyg06, there is something fundamentally wrong with suggesting a plant based diet on a hunting forum ...

My crusty old VA doctor nailed it when I broke over into (type 2) diabetes. No breads No potatoes No rice No Pasta No sweets
A1c dropped 1 full point in 90 days. First 30 days were a bitch, after that not so bad. No problem at all after a while. I eat nothing from anything that has a drive through.

I have lost 16 lbs in 4 weeks. Some cheating but only once or twice a week for a meal and some beers.
I have eaten little to no bread, potatoes as mentioned above. I use mainly brown rice. Breakfast it is 2 eggs, sausage, mushroom, onion, avacado, and hot sauce mixed together. Lunch is little rice, chicken, baby spinach, onion, tomato, mushroom, avacado (1/4). Dinner chicken, fish or venison, brown rice, veggies, onions, mushrooms. I eat almonds, fruit and carrots for snacks. Once you cut the boxed foods out, everything tastes good again. Nothing I eat now has an ingredient list.

Grab and go? Single serve tuna fish packets. They have many flavors available. 90-110 calories each and about a dollar a pack depending on where you buy them. 10-14 grams of protein per serving. Little to no sugars and carbs. Can be eaten in one minute. Can be stored at any temp in your truck, backpack, briefcase, etc.
Not the tastiest thing in the world but will dang sure get the job done. I don’t know if you can eat enough of them for it to be a negative on almost any style of diet.

6 SMALL meals a day. As a "recovering" Fat A$$ it has done a lot for me. Also at least a gallon of water throughout the day has helped me also. I get a lot of my protein from deer meat and eggs. And get as many veggies (nature's broom) in there as possible. But for easy meal prep I make several pots of chili and make ahead bowls of oatmeal(NO cook) w/ greek yogurt and protein powder and flax seeds. Also stir fry w/ avocado oil (Healthy fat)and a tons of different veggie and meat combos.

Keto Diet. Been on it, haven't cheated once for five days and I'm a believer in it. Lost 6 lbs. I eat like a horse, just stick to the "what to eat", "what not to eat" plan. Haven't had a beer or wine, no sugar, no carbs. Breakfast is coffee with butter and heavy cream and Stevia with bacon, next day four scrambled eggs with butter and heavy cream and bacon. Dinner is meat and fresh vegetables. I do slam the right amount of MTC oil shots, like two tbsp. per day. It ain't hard, just have to plan once per week and buy the right food and cook it. Dinner was always meat and fresh vegetables for us anyway, the big change was breakfast and lunch. For lunch, I mostly eat dinner left overs. Only down side is a little less energy in the gym, still lift five days per week. My CHL was close to 400 for the last few years, pills not helping enough. Hope this does. I know a lot of guys that have done it, all have been glad they did it.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
