Salt & pepper after it's grilled.

Made them yesterday. Mix one pound lean HB with one pound venison (or pork) sausage. Mix it well, it takes some doing Add the onions from a package of Lipton Onion Soup, not all the powder though, too salty Add coarse salt, coarse pepper and lots of garlic I added some smoked salt and Head Country dry seasoning I added just a little Head Country Spicy BBQ sauce Form it into a large lump and set it aside, let it rest. If the smoker is fired up, smoke it a little but don’t cook it, just a little smoke will flavor it up. My soux chef then took over to make the patties. She made thin patties, placed a silver dollar size slice of sharp cheddar on one patty and topped it with another. I grilled them and they got a thumbs up.

Lawry's season salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Just use on outside. Nothing in the meat.

Bolner's Fiesta Hamburger Deluxe seasoning is what I use. That’s my favorite to use and then just as throw back I’ll do Lawrys seasoned salt.

Salt and Pepper , cook in cast iron skillet in butter until medium done . Slap some cheddar cheese slices on just before you remove the patties , melt cheese then put on bread with mayo on one side and mustard on the other side , lettuce , tomatoes , pickles , onions and sometimes jalapeno slices . Serve with a side of crispy tator-tots (deep fried preferably) . Can coke for washing it down . Dang now i'm hungry for a burger myself ! OH BTW 90/10 on the HB . NEVER Walmart meat or any tube meat . Fresh ground only from H.E.B.

Venison or cow burgers I do the same ... freshly ground salt and black pepper on each side of the patty plus just a light dusting of cayenne powder or chili powder. Cook on a charcoal grill outside or a cast iron skillet inside until medium rare.
The venison grind has some beef fat mixed in.

For beef: Salt, Pepper, and garlic mixed in meat. Two 1/4 lb or so patties smashed together with a piece of american blue cheese in the middle. Light dusting of Montreal on the outside. cooked medium rare on the pellet smoker. Serve on buttered toasted ciabatta bun with mustard, pickle, and several slices of thick cut bacon. Sometimes switch mustard to a pesto aioli for a walk on the wild side. For venison: Salt, Pepper, diced onion and jalps mixed into the meat. Smash a slab of aged cheddar between two patties. Cook medium and serve on a toasted bun with chipotle aioli and grilled avocado.
