Would like some assistance in finding a NICE place (doesn't have to be 5-star resort - just clean, comfortable and appropriate for a 10-yr-old's 1st hunt) where I can take my niece.

She'll be hunting with a .243 single-shot, looking for a full-curl ram or at least a hog (she wants a ram). I'll take my bow in case she shoots out - I don't care if I even shoot.

I'm thinking maybe Baker 3, Rancho La Rama Del Mezquite (www.texas-exotics.com), Love Ranch or Caza Brio Ranch? But you all know far more about this than I do. Suggestions? It would be great to find someplace that will offer a good "father/daughter" package, too! But I want to make sure my niece's first experience isn't bad, and that she can come home with a decent, full curl ram or nice boar with tusks.

Thanks!

I would recomment Coyote creek ranch. That's where I took my former wife for her first hunt and we both had a lot of fun. She took a nice Texas dahl and a pig with her .243.

I had a good experiance with Kramerhunting.com just outside of Kerrville also. Kenny is a good guy to deal with.

I have several rams for $400 each (trophy fee only, no lodging or meals provided, no guide fees).
