My forever old Nikon Tactical 4-16x50 took a dump this weekend. I’ve already sent it in for repair but in the meantime, I am looking for a temporary substitute.
Looking for.... 30mm tube 4-16 power....something close Hoping to stay around $500
Or would you suggest something for $1000 and then sell my Nikon when it gets back.
What would you suggest?

Burris XTR II 3-15X
Gives you a lower low end, and a higher high end. Sell the Nikon when it comes back.
They have a discount program for Military, Fire, and Law Enforcement. Even as a veteran and not active duty, I believe.

Wait to see what you get back from Nikon. I had a Nikon Tactical with 30mm tube, mil reticle, and excellent glass until I loaned my rifle to a buddy who decided he was going to keep both! Drop me a note if I can be of any help to you with the repair/replacement process with Nikon.
Longtime hunter/shooter/fisherman who loves being outdoors. I used to hunt/compete with my son, but he's now stationed in Germany. Never enough time.
