Tossing around the idea with a couple of coaching buddies about taking a trip to shoot some snows. Would travel within TX, AR, LA. Does anyone have experience with reputable guides? This will be our first snow goose hunt if we can make it work, however, a couple guys will have to work around their schedules as they are in season. Just want to start putting together some contacts just in case!

Third Coast Outfitters in Arkansas. Randy is one of the best snow goose guides around. They should having some great hunts from now through early March.

If they don't any openings, try Hunt Up North - https://www.huntupnorth.com/If I had the money, I'd book a trip with him now. A buddy of mine was there last week. This is how they did day 1 He started hunting AR using Hunt Up North. He put in with his neighbor and cousin to buy their own decoys. Now they go up for a week or two each year.

Try Dirty Bird Outfitters too. A couple of my buddies are guiding for them right now and crushing it since it started.

We have tons of birds in North AR right now. Here's a video of a smaller feed that was easy to film bc they where close to the road

I found 8 feeds today one was 75-100,000 birds and just gained access for my 30 days. Setting a 1400 piece spread in the morning after verifying it's the X then going to hammer them!

Is Texas holding any snow geese now? Do they hang around until mid April? Went on a hunt in NW Missouri last weekend. Will be in Texas the weekend of April 13-15 and would love to add some snow hunting if applicable.

Not sure about the rest of the state but we didnt get a decent CO hunt in the south east this year. Either way CO season closed in TX on the 18th so were SOL.
