Got the new blind in the air yesterday. Rigged up an old feeder with a gravity feed tube since the motor was bad anyways. Have to put the siding and roof on next weekend .

I was thinking using these to anchor it down with . https://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_200312941_200312941?adv=false&cm_mmc=Google-pla&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9fCRr_n22QIVW7XACh0rjAhREAQYAiABEgIzafD_BwE&utm_campaign=ShelterLogic&utm_content=65500&utm_medium=Tarps%2C Canopies %2B Shelters %26gt%3B Shelter %2B Canopy Accessories&utm_source=Google_PLA

If you have dirt or sand these will work for you. I used them in the river bottoms for anchors to winch to if nothing was available. Works like a champ but sometimes you have to leave them. The welded in pipe holds a rod that you drive it into the ground with and then you retrieve the rod to drive the next one. Note the edge is beveled to make going through roots easier.

I'm gonna borrow this idea

See that mesquite tree behind the stand? Cut that off and use it as an anchor with either a turnbuckle or a come along.......

Your blind is looking great! It looks like you made a good choice on the anchors, they should out last our storm seasons. I don't know about your weather but my area has been bombarded with thunderstorms and hail. I look forward to seeing the final product!!

Got the stairs and a few windows done last Saturday. I've got some 1000 lb. Steel braid lines tied off so far

Looks good. I built a couple that look similar. Metal roof slopes forward into rain gutter. Downspout directs it into a water trough. So far they've never run dry. Deer and Turkey water from them daily.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
