Not sure what happened. I tore or whatever an abdominal muscle in a dip or rowing the garden over the weekend. Its below my rib cage on my right side.
I cant sleep, breath, cough, sit, walk, or anything without some crazy pain. Getting in and out of a chair is a chore. Driving sucks.
Anyone ever experience anything like this?
What can I do to help it heal faster other than not doing anything?

I thought it was a hernia. Today the pain went from 8 to 3. Really random. I am not picking up any weights for a few days though. Worst abdominal pain I have ever felt.

Separated mine right down the middle about 2 years ago, another reason I had to give up the weights. Was doing squats when it let go.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

it happened to me about a year ago and i couldnt do the same exact things. its going to take time to heal and a wrap or any type of compression shirt or even a back support strap will help nothing much else will. take it easy because it heals really slow.

May have done something to the QL muscle. Manager may have worked for it. I hope it's better by now.

Had this happen a month ago, but not nearly as bad as yours. Mine was squatting with maybe a misplaced belt. Just with warm up weight. Took a few weeks with only light lifts and am back to 100% now. Good luck

I'll try to get back into it tonight. Its been 8 days since I lifted. That is the longest time away since I started in 2016.

I tore a muscle away from the rib on the right side, very common in pitchers, golfers, and tennis players. I tore mine laying under a car trying to get exhaust pipes to fit. Took me about 6 months before the pain resides. I couldn’t eat with out it causing pain, much less any type of physical activity.
